Welcome to Az Independent Officials Association
Az IOA was developed to enhance Arizona's Ice Hockey Officials program. Our program provides ongoing evaluations, training, and development of on ice and off ice skills. We also work with all of our officials and score keepers to keep them up to date with all of the rules and regulations.
Our program is monitored and inspected for successful non-biased and safe game officiating.

Training and Development
We provide regular training, conditioning and management services for all of our members. Join us for our “Skull Session” to help you prepare for your open book exam and learn more about the USA Hockey rulebook.
Our Mission/Purpose
The purpose of AZIOA is simple: to provide qualified Hockey officials to youth and adult ice hockey programs in Arizona. AZIOA attempts to provide officials who are best suited to the level of each game.
